Account Deletion Policy for RescueX

Welcome to RescueX, operated by RescueX Care Pvt. Ltd. We believe you should have full control over your personal information. This Account Deletion Policy explains how you can permanently delete your RescueX account and what happens to your data after deletion.

By using the RescueX app, you acknowledge that you understand this policy.

1. Delete Your Account

RescueX allows users to permanently delete their account directly from within the mobile application.

To delete your account:

1. Open the RescueX app.
2. Sign in to your account.
3. Go to Profile.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Read the confirmation message carefully.
6. Confirm your request.

Once confirmed, your account deletion request will be processed.

2. What Happens After You Delete Your Account

After your account is deleted:

• Your RescueX account will be permanently removed.
• Your profile information will be deleted.
• Your registered email address will be deleted.
• Your registered phone number will be deleted.
• Your vehicle information will be deleted.
• Your saved preferences will be deleted.
• Your login credentials will no longer work.
• You will need to create a new account if you wish to use RescueX again.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot normally be reversed.

3. Information We May Retain

Even after your account is deleted, RescueX may retain certain information when required to:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prevent fraud and abuse.
• Resolve disputes.
• Enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• Meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations.

Any retained information will only be kept for the period required by law or legitimate business purposes.

4. Processing Time

Most account deletion requests are processed immediately or within a reasonable period.

In some cases, deletion may take up to 30 days to complete due to technical, security, or legal requirements.

5. Recovery of Deleted Accounts

Once your account has been permanently deleted:

• Your account cannot be recovered.
• Your deleted data cannot be restored.
• Your previous booking history may no longer be available.
• If you wish to use RescueX again, you must create a new account.

6. Third-Party Services

Some services used by RescueX, such as authentication, cloud storage, analytics, maps, and notifications, may temporarily retain limited technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
